Verste Stuiwer

Verste Stuiwer can be found in the arid region of Vioolsdrift along side the lush banks of the Orange River on the South African side of the Namibian border.

Table grapes and Pomegranates are produced on this farm.

We start harvesting our table grapes early in the South African Season at the end of November. Our Global Gap packhouse and cold storage allow us to load and seal the containers on the farm ensuring the integrity of the cold chain is kept in tact.

Our pomegranate orchard thrives under these arid conditions to cultivate their exquisite red jewels called ‘arils’. These pomegranate arils are packed full of powerful antioxidants. We harvest our pomegranates during the months of April and May and can safely store them until August.

Verste Stuiwer is also Fairtrade accredited and adopts environmentally friendly farming practices.
